Public Relations Resources
Use these links (some are web pages, some are email addresses) to publicize county events. The best way is to write up your event in a word-processing program, then copy & paste into the emails & submission boxes. This information was originally assembled by Hilary Caws-Elwitt of the Susquehanna County Library and Jonathan Caws-Elwitt of the Endless Mountains Theater Company. This is not necessarily a comprehensive list.
Please choose targets carefully - each list is arranged roughly from close to further away (depends on your location, of course). The full list should only be used for the very largest events.

Calendar Listings
Most ask that submissions be 3-4 weeks ahead, but many will take listings closer to the event.
Magazines
American profile - must submit four months ahead of time, distributed nation-wide; only list the very largest events.
Happenings - must submit by the 10th of the month, covers northeast PA.
Where & When - event listings must be received well in advance
