The library is more than just books!
American Girl Discovery Kits
Each kit includes doll, extra outfit and book and are available for checkout to Susquehanna County residents 18 and older. The kits are located at the Montrose location, but can be requested from any location.
Guitars
The Montrose and Susquehanna locations have guitars available for checkout, but can be borrowed from any location. Each acoustic guitar comes with a case, strap and picks. The electric guitar comes with a strap, amp and picks. Guitars can be borrowed for 14 days. The program is open to Susquehanna County residents.
Birding Backpacks
Birding enthusiasts and amateurs alike can enjoy our Birding Backpacks. Each location has one backpack. Contents include two pairs of binoculars, guidebook and other materials to get you started!
PAL Packs
PAL (“Play and Learn”) Packs are ten different themed backpacks containing books and educational toys designed to encourage early literacy skills (~3-8 years old), but kids of any age are welcome to check them out! Each pack also includes an activity guide with tips for parents. Packs are located at the Susquehanna location but can be borrowed from any location.
Cake Pans
A large donation of cake pans have been split between our Montrose, Hallstead and Susquehanna branches. They can be transferred between all branches so don't be afraid to ask for one if it's not at your branch (including Forest City)!
