The library is more than just books!
Baking Pans
A large donation of baking pans have been split between our Montrose, Hallstead and Susquehanna branches. They can be transferred between all branches so don't be afraid to ask for one if it's not at your branch (including Forest City)!
Blood Pressure Monitors
We have blood pressure monitors available for use while in the library or to borrow to use at home! These are available at all four branch locations -- ask at the front desk for more information!
Guitars
The Montrose and Susquehanna locations have guitars available for checkout, but can be borrowed from any location. Each acoustic guitar comes with a case, strap and picks. The electric guitar comes with a strap, amp and picks. Guitars can be borrowed for 14 days. The program is open to Susquehanna County residents.
PAL Packs
PAL (“Play and Learn”) Packs are ten different themed backpacks containing books and educational toys designed to encourage early literacy skills (~3-8 years old), but kids of any age are welcome to check them out! Each pack also includes an activity guide with tips for parents. Packs are located at the Susquehanna location but can be borrowed from any location.
