Visit the main library in Montrose or one of the library locations in Forest City, Hallstead-Great Bend, or Susquehanna, before your baby's first birthday and receive your welcome package, including a sturdy board book.

Have your newborn's photograph taken for display on our Babies and Books placard.

Your child will receive a gift from the library on his or her first and second birthday.

Join us the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 10:00 AM for a fun and engaging program designed for children ages 0–3 1/2, accompanied by an adult.

If the Montrose School district has a cancellation due to weather Little Ones is cancelled.

Children ages 3½-8 years old are invited to join us each Tuesday for stories, songs, STEM activities, crafts, and fun! Children build early literacy and social skills in a welcoming small-group setting.

Weather Policy: Story Time will be canceled if the Montrose Area School District cancels school due to inclement weather.
