Susquehanna County Libraries will now be offering curbside pickup for library materials. Patrons can make arrangements to borrow library materials (books, audiobooks, DVDs, etc.) and the items will be available to be picked up during the posted times below only.
To request materials, patrons can call library locations during open hours (Montrose 570-278-1881, Forest City 570-785-5590, Hallstead-Great Bend 570-879-2227, Susquehanna 570-853-4106), or by clicking anytime on the green "My Account" button in the top right corner of the page and log in with your library card and pin.
Here are our modified hours during this time:
Montrose: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Forest City: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to noon.
Hallstead-Great Bend: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to noon.
Susquehanna: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to noon. Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon.
The Historical Society will be open for genealogical research from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and on the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The museum will remain closed until further notice.
Please wear your mask and bring your library card or identification when using curbside pickup. Please note that there will be no patron access inside any of the building locations, including computers, restrooms and other services normally available at the library.
We are hoping that curbside pickup will only be for a short period and we will be able to welcome everyone back into our locations in the near future. Thank you for your patience and understanding! We miss seeing everyone!
