Montrose Author Luncheon

Author Barbara J. Taylor will speak on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, in the Montrose Library Community Room.

The luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m., with Ms. Taylor speaking at 1:30 p.m.


Cost of the event is $15 and includes the luncheon.

Return the reservation form with payment to the Susquehanna County Library, Montrose, by June 12.

Born and raised in Scranton, PA, Barbara J. Taylor sets her novels in the hometown she loves and populates them with miners, evangelists, vaudevillians, gangsters, and a prostitute or two.


Publishers Weekly named her first book, Sing in the Morning, Cry at Night, a “Best Book of Summer, 2014.” Her second novel, All Waiting Is Long, received great press, including a starred review from Booklist and the American Library Association. Taylor is currently at work on the last novel in her trilogy, tentatively titled, Rain Breaks No Bones.
