Today's program focused on poetry. After we discussed what we liked about poetry and why, we explored many examples from the library's collection, noticing rhymes, language and imagery. Then each participant had the chance to recite or read a favorite poem while being recorded. The wide variety of poems selected made for a very enjoyable experience.
