New study on Internet use at public libraries

A new study, "Opportunity for All: How the American Public Benefits from Internet Access at U.S. Libraries," proves something we already knew, but it contains some eye-opening statistics. Nearly one-third of Americans age 14 or older – roughly 77 million people – used a public library computer or wireless network to access the Internet in the past year; 44% of low-income adults rely on the library for computer use; and half of teens 14 to 18 used a library computer last year.
