Forest City Summer Reading Calendar

Join us for these special Summer Reading programs at the Forest City library location! Click "Read More" if the calendar does not display.

Programs will be held on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30am. Mrs. Mary MacElhinney and Mrs. Joan Skarbez will be reading each week and there will be many special guests.

Wednesday, June 19th, 10:30am - Dig Into Reading Kickoff Program, upstairs at the borough building; presented by Mary Beth Manns and Donna Horn

Wednesday, June 26th, 10:30am - Program Beverly Bennet

Wednesday, July 3rd:  10:30 -  Story Hour and Program Program 

Wednesday, July 10th, 10:30am - Stories and games theme   Worms

Wednesday, July 17th, 10:30am -Carole Kameen   Archaeological Dig and Book Give Away

Thursday, July 18th, 10:30  Special Musical Guest Jay Smar Program is at Susquehann Community School All are invited 

Friday, July 19th, 11:00am - Technology Program for Adults. Learn the functions, where to buy, and how to operate devices such as iphones, Netbooks, etc.you can bring your own also for help

Wednesday, July 31st, 10:30am - Fishing and Picnic at Browndale Sportsman 

Monday, August 5th, - Adult trip to Howe Caverns and the Cave House Museum.  Cost is $30.  Registration deadline is July 18th. 

Tuesday, August 6th, 9:30-2:00  Ending Program  Fossil Hunt with RockDoc at Conklin Forks Park

All Summer Readers are invited  You must provide your own transportation
