December 18--Paper Flower

Paper Flower, a story set in China, was presented to the group. As the story is told, paper is folded and cut into objects to accompany the telling.

The rest of the session was spent using paper to make stars in various styles. There were folded stars, quilled stars, woven stars and cut stars---more than could be accomplished in one sitting. Directions and materials were made available for anyone who wanted to continue crafting at home.
