Can I return my items to a different branch?

You can return your Susquehanna County Library items to any of our branches: Forest City, Hallstead-Great Bend, Montrose, or Susquehanna. Please note that the Pratt library in New Milford is not part of our system. InterLibrary Loan items (borrowed from a library outside of our system) MUST be returned to the library where you picked them up. Please do not drop off regular library items at deposit stations. The ACCESS-PA network, which allows you to get a library card at other Pennsylvania libraries, also allows returns at co-operating libraries. So, for example, you can return items you've checked out here to Tunkhannock or Scranton, and vice-versa. Please note that this does NOT apply to ILL items; even if the ILL came from Scranton, it must be returned where you requested it. Also be aware that there may be a time delay, and the item may show up on your record as late until it's actually returned to its home library.
