February 14 - Hearts

Hearts

February 14th

Children's Room, Main Library

We began the class with the story "Somebody Loves You Mr. Hatch". Then we learned about the workings of the heart. We found out what it is, how it works, and how to keep it healthy. The Montrose Minute Men paid us a visit and demonstrated the heart monitor that they carry in the ambulance, as well as the Pulse Ox monitor that measures the heart rate and the amount of blood being carried in the bloodstream.
