The spirit of Saturday's Festival

The 32nd Annual Blueberry Festival had a beautiful Friday, followed by a Saturday that started cloudy, began to sprinkle, and then turned into a downpour that lasted the entire day. Although the totals will certainly be down from last year's record, a remarkable number of hardy supporters came and enjoyed the events under umbrellas and tents. It may not have been the most successful Festival ever, but it was the most heart-warming. We deeply appreciate everyone who came and the efforts of hundreds of people who made it possible, even in the pouring rain! Click "read more" or scroll down for the detailed thank you list. Check out the TV coverage of the Blueberry Festival on WBNG/Channel 12! Next year's Blueberry Festival will be held on Friday, August 3rd & Saturday, August 4th, 2012.
