June 11 - June 14: Registration Week

Tuesday, June 19, 10am - Story Time for ages 3½-8

Wednesday, June 20, 11:30am - Chapter Books Over Lunch for ages 9-12 (bring a lunch)

Thursday, June 21, 7:30 pm - Kick-off: Stories Around the Campfire, at Salt Springs State Park

  • Bring a blanket and join us around the campfire for silly, spooky, and exciting stories. You can      even help tell the stories. Learn a few new camping songs and share a snack.
  • Rain or shine!

Thursday, June 21:

  • 10am - Baby Lap Time for ages 0 - 2
  • noon - Teen Get-Together (bring a lunch) for ages 12 and up

Tuesday, June 26, 10am - Story Time for ages 3½-8

Wednesday, June 27, 11:30am - Chapter Books Over Lunch for ages 9-12 (bring a lunch)

Thursday, June 28

  • 10am - Toddler Time for ages 2-3½
  • noon - Teen Get-Together (bring a lunch) for ages 12 and up

Tuesday, July 3, 10am - Story Time for ages 3½-8

Wednesday, July 4: Library closed for 4th of July

Thursday, July 5:

  • 10am - Baby Lap Time for ages 0-2
  • noon - Teen Get-Together (bring a lunch) for ages 12 and up

Tuesday, July 10:

  • 10am - Story Time for ages 3½-8
  • 6:30pm - Adults and Teens - Come learn how to knit and/or crochet!
  • A simple project will be started or you may bring something you are already working on.
  • Yarn will be provided. Knitting needles and crocheting hooks available.
  • Another class is set for Monday, July 23rd.
  • Pre-registration required.

Wednesday, July 11, 11:30am - Chapter Books Over Lunch for ages 9-12 (bring a lunch).

  • 10am - Toddler Time for ages 2-3½
  • noon - Teen Get-Together (bring a lunch) for ages 12 and up

July 16th - 19th – Free book giveaway

Monday, July 16, 7pm - Spa Night for adults and teens

  • Come relax and pamper yourself at our Spa Night. All natural facials will be available as well as paraffin dips and/or manicures.
  • Light refreshments will be served.
  • This event will take place at the Fairdale Grange located on Route 706. 
  • Pre-registration required.

6:30pm - Adults/Teens -  Knitting/crocheting night.

  • Join us to continue a project, or start a new one.
  • Instruction available, yarn provided. Knitting needles and crocheting hooks available.
  • Pre-registration required

7:00pm - Adults/Teens - Movie Night

  • Join us for "It Happened One Night" 
  • Light refreshments provided

  • Last day to sign up for Observatory Field Trip

  • 1:00 pm - Teen Get-Together (bring a bagged lunch/dinner) for ages 12 and up/adults  ZOMBIE HUNT at the Hallstead-Great Bend Rod and Gun Club

  • Come join us in your pajamas for a story.
  • A movie will be shown (6:45pm)
  • Light refreshments will be served

  • 10am - Toddler Time for ages 2-3½

Friday, August 10, 7:00pm-9:30pm - Kopernik Observatory, Vestal NY
  • Come spend the evening under the stars. Learn about the constellation, lights, and lasers. Explore     solar systems and galaxies throughout the universe and use a telescope to view the Perseids meteor shower.
  • Raindate: Saturday August 11, 7:00pm
  • Cost: $5.00 per person
  • Must register by July 25th
