13th Write and Illustrate Your Own Picture Book Contest Winners | Print |  E-mail

The contest, which was being held every other year, is currently on hold due to the budget cuts.

A total of 37 original picture books were entered from all over the county. Congratulations to all of our creative entrants! Each received a Certificate of Participation and comments from the judges. Slides of all the winning entries were shown at the Awards Ceremony on May 30th, 2009. You can view that presentation here.

First place books have been hardbound and added to the collection of one of the four county libraries (Montrose, Forest City, Hallstead-Great Bend, and Susquehanna). Honorable mentions were softbound for the honorees. Click here for photos of our winners at the Awards Ceremony.
