If you are looking for Susquehanna County information, you'll want to contact our Historical Society. They have their own website, susqcohistsoc.org, and their own email address, suspulib@epix.net. They do charge a fee for research; please see here for details. (Obituaries fall under the "Newspaper/File Lookup" service.)
For recent obituaries, you can also search the local newspapers online. The Susquehanna County Independent has obituaries online from 1999 on. Use the advanced search. Currently there is no charge. The Susquehanna County Transcript has online archives starting in January 2000, but you must be a subscriber to access them. At this time, the Forest City News is beginning to archive its stories, but there is no obituary archive or storage. The Binghamton (NY) Press & Sun Bulletin covers Susquehanna County news, and many obituaries are published there; please check the obituary search page for listings from 1/1/2001 on. Currently the first 25 words display free, but there is a charge of $2.95 for the whole obituary unless it was published with the last year. It is also worth checking the advanced search at the Scranton Times-Tribune.
