Did you know that the Susquehanna County Library has a large and growing collection of videos and DVDs? Current and classic movies, children's videos, and interesting non-fiction titles are all free to borrow for two weeks. You can even renew up to two times unless someone else is waiting for the movie. (Fines are $1 a day so be sure to get them back in time!) Stop by to browse the shelves at the Main Library in Montrose or one of the branches in Forest City, Hallstead/Great Bend, and Susquehanna. You can also view the entire collection online at www.susqcolibrary.org. Anything that's checked out or at a different branch can be requested very easily--just log into your account, or call your local library. Especially at the Main Library, shelf space is limited, so it's an enormous help to keep the videos circulating. "We get wonderful donations, but we can't add everything we want because there's no room to expand," says Administrator/Librarian Susan Stone. "If even more people check out the materials we have, that frees up room on the shelves!" Use your local library--it's a win-win strategy!
