At each county library, you have access to high-speed Internet, Microsoft Office products, Magic Schoolbus games, and a scanner. We recommend that you use a USB flash drive (also known as jump/thumb drive or memory stick) for saving data. You can also bring in CDs (with data, or blanks). Multiple workstations are available. There is no charge for computer use, but printing is 25 cents per page.
Computers are usually assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, but you may call ahead and reserve a time if you prefer. Each user may have up to 3 hours of computer time (1 hour at the branches), of which 30 minutes is uninterrupted (after 30 minutes, you may be asked to make way for someone else who is waiting).
All computers have CD/DVD reading drives and front USB ports. Most can burn CDs and also have slots for all common memory card formats (Compact Flash, SD, etc.) from cameras and other devices.
All users must agree to abide by our Computer & Internet Usage Policy. Under the age of 18, a parent's signature is required to use the Internet unattended.
