Annual Meeting draws a crowd | Print |  E-mail

The Association's Annual Meeting was held on Saturday, January 29th. About 60 people listened to reports on the Association's activities during 2010, enjoyed a fascinating presentation by Barbara Watson, Meteorologist-in-Charge of the National Weather Service Office Binghamton, and socialized over refreshments.

Although the Annual Meeting marks the peak of the 2011 Support Drive, it's never too late to help support library and historical society services across the county. Donations are gratefully accepted at any time. Please print out our donation card if you would like to become a supporter.

Do you carry tax forms? | Print |  E-mail

The IRS has announced it will not mail tax forms automatically starting in 2011. Most post office and banks no longer carry forms. The Susquehanna County Library still provides tax forms. This is a VOLUNTEER SERVICE. We receive no compensation and we must donate our staff time.

During tax season, we have a limited quantity of forms. We do not have any multi-part forms such as 1099s. Please only take what you need. If we do not have what you need, you have several options:

  • Almost all forms are available online. Check here for links.
  • The IRS will mail forms if you call them at 800-829-3676 after Jan. 1, or you can order from the website
  • H&R Block and other tax prep offices carry forms.
  • Your state representative’s office carries forms.
  • We can print forms for you here for our normal printing charge of 25 cents per page.
  • Sorry, we cannot provide tax advice!
