The Library Lottery Raffle is a fund-raiser for the Library Building Fund. The 2011 drawing was held on July 23, at the Harford Fairgrounds, during the Cabot picnic. Over 900 tickets were sold. We thank everyone who participated and the many volunteers who made it possible!

The eighth Annual Dale & Trudy's Golf Tournament (formerly Dale & Rick's) was held on July 17th at the Conklin Player's Club. It was once again a tremendous success, raising a record-setting $3,370 for the Hallstead-Great Bend library location. The Board and staff are very grateful to organizers Trudy and Dale Henry, the players and sponsors, and everyone who made the tournament possible--read on for a list of sponsors and volunteers. The Fourth Annual Chocolate and Wine Festival once again benefited both the Association and the hospital. It was the biggest yet, and committee chairperson Tom Follert (of Chocolates by Leopold) delivered a check for $10,000! We're very grateful to have been chosen as one of the beneficiaries, and we thank the Chocolate & Wine Festival Board and Committee members and the many volunteers who made the Festival a success.

The Chocolate and Wine Festival is held on the third Saturday in May, so in 2012 the date will be May 19th, from 3pm to 7pm.
