This free program is open to any Susquehanna County infant (under 1 year of age). Simply bring your baby to one of our county libraries (Forest City, Hallstead-Great Bend, Montrose, or Susquehanna) to sign up. If you don't have a library card, you'll need to get one (also free!)

You'll receive a "Read" bag containing information on reading to your baby, a free board book, and, while supplies last, an infant "Read" T-shirt (thanks to the MAHS Key Club) . We'll take a photo of baby's first visit to the library, which is posted on a bulletin board.

On your baby's first and second birthdays, we'll send you a postcard for a free gift to be picked up at the library!
